A few info to tell you who we are and what are our musical influences and experiences.

 

Andrea Stagni : Keyboard player, singer, guitarist and in case bass player of the band. He has always been part of Zabov. Favourite musicians: It Bites, E.L.&P., Duran Duran. He is author of all songs, and of most parts of the lyrics. He wrote music for a comedy played in 1995 with a pretty good success.

Instruments: Roland JD800, Roland JD990, Roland JP8000, Roland A37, Expanders E-MU Systems,  GEM RP-6 digital piano,Yamaha A-3000 sampler,  Fender, Blake electric guitars, Yamaha acoustic guitars.

Roberto Coppola : Drums, electronic pads and backing vocals.
Also Roberto is in the band from the start, he's a rock influenced musician.

Favourite musicians: Genesis, E.L.P, Yes, King Krimson, F. Zappa.

Instruments: Tama drums, Zildjan/Paiste cymbals, Roland Octapad .

Massimiliano Ceschi : Bass. He's one of the founder members, but he left the band in 1995 to get back in 1998. His musical influences are rock based: (Yes, Dream Theater, Genesis, E.L.P, Rush)
He also played with "Diffusi Rock" and "VIA DEI LAMPONI".
Instruments: Basses: Rickenbacker 4003, Yamaha TB5, six strings Ibanez 1006, Zoom effects, Yamaha amplifiers.		 io1int.jpg (18042 byte)

Luca "Gambero" Gamberini :  Electric guitars. He plays in the band since 1995.He's an heavy metal oriented musician: (Steve Vai, Ratt, Dokken, Dream Theater,P. Gilbert, Van Halen).  he was always in touch with the band, and he became an effective member right after the recording of Zabov I.
Instruments: (too many):several Ibanez Steve Vai, Hamer, Jackson guitars. A LOT of signal processors, Marshall amplifiers.		 foto luca1.jpg (15542 byte)
Franz : Voice. He does many things, because he plays giutar, bass and he enjoys drums also. His love for music comes through band as Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Balletto di Bronzo, Rolling Stones, e a million more. He started playing piano when he was 9 yo, and he ended to be a "guitar-experiment-guy" at secondary school. Later, he began working with high school bands.  Now, in Zabov he's only singing, but we are sure that he will happen to be also an instrument player (we only don't know wich instrument, actually!)  Shure microphones.

 

Also played with us:

Nanno  : Bass . He was in the band from 1995 to 1996. He studied with Domenico Lo Parco, he is a rock-influenced guy. Now he's not playing bass anymore (sob!). He played with Kroyden
Instruments: 5 strings Warwick bass.

Stefano "Pera" Peresson: Bass, backing vocals and keyboards. He was with us from 1996 to 1998. His favourite bands are Kiss, Ratt, Dokken, Cheap Trick. He was one of the most important players during heavy metal era in Bologna, playing with Danger Zone.
Instruments: Gibson bass, Marshall amplifiers.
